Master of Wine Debra Meiburg shares her wealth of wisdom in the latest issue of Crave magazine’s Liquid Counsel.
One of the first Masters of Wine in Asia, Debra Meiburg is a celebrated wine journalist, TV personality and speaker. Meiburg Wine Media, her multimedia platform for wine “edutainment”, reaches over 60 million Chinese viewers monthly. Debra was asked, “I have a date with a very picky eater and drinker. Is there a wine you would recommend that should please most palates?”, in which she answered “Go with a soft, fruit-forward wine such as a Napa or Sonoma Merlot (although if they’ve seen Sideways, they may turn up their nose), Marlborough or Tasmanian Pinot Noirs, and Syrahs from Paso Robles, California.
And she’s chosen to go with Josef Chromy Pinot Noir 2009!
Thanks Debra!
