Often cited as the most seductive wine in the DRC lineup, the 2001 Romanée-Saint-Vivant is a masterpiece of aromatics and finesse. It soars from the glass with signature notes of Asian spices, soy, wilted rose petals, and wild red berries. On the palate, it is ethereal and lace-like, possessing an "understated power" that balances fresh acidity with silky tannins and an incredibly long, perfumed finish.
