A triumph of biodynamic farming in a challenging year, Pontet-Canet 2011 outperforms many First Growths of the vintage. It offers a pure, precise bouquet of blackcurrants, violets, and graphite. On the palate, it is remarkably deep and structured, with cool fruit flavors and fine-grained tannins that lead to a long, mineral-driven finish.
