Despite the difficult frost of 2017, the privileged Bages plateau was largely spared, allowing Château Lynch-Bages to produce a wine of impressive stature. This vintage is classically styled, dominated by Cabernet Sauvignon (70%). It opens with pure, lifted aromas of cassis, blackberry, and subtle cigar box. The palate is medium to full-bodied with a core of cool, fresh fruit, supported by fine-grained tannins and an energetic finish.
