While Domaine Ballot-Millot is renowned for its Meursault whites, their reds are true hidden gems. The 2020 Santenots—a vineyard actually located in Meursault but labeled as Volnay—combines the richness of clay-heavy soils with the concentration of the sunny vintage. It offers generous aromas of ripe raspberry, black cherry, and warm earth. The palate is fleshy and structured, delivering a core of sweet fruit balanced by vibrant acidity and a persistent finish.
