From Sassotondo, champions of the rare Ciliegiolo grape, this is a beautifully mature expression of Maremma. The ripe 2011 vintage, now with well over a decade of age, has evolved into a complex and savory wine, offering a bouquet of dried cherry, sweet tobacco, and leather.
