A fully mature masterpiece from the legendary La Crau plateau, Vieux Télégraphe 2000 is a classic expression of traditional Châteauneuf-du-Pape. At this stage of evolution, the wine offers a profound and complex bouquet of dried figs, kirsch, worn leather, tobacco, and the savory dried herbs of the garrigue. The palate is warm and enveloping with resolved, silky tannins and a distinct salty minerality on the finish. It is a perfect example of how gracefully top-tier Grenache blends can age.
