Cloudburst Cabernet Sauvignon 2017

From a cooler, extended ripening season in Margaret River, Will Berliner’s 2017 Cabernet Sauvignon is a wine of astonishing complexity and "ridiculous gentleness" (Jane Anson). It unveils a darker, more brooding profile than its siblings, with heady perfumes of violets, cassis, and mulberries intertwined with savory herbs. The palate is utterly smooth and layered, featuring slate-like tannins and a distinct saline minerality that lingers on the finish.
